Healing prayer narrative – alcoholism wiped out without a trace!

This blog’s Wednesday focus is on what I have called “healing prayer narratives”. Today’s blog highlights a vivid and complete cure of alcoholism. The album on the left is called “Welcome to my Nightmare”, and at one point alcoholism was a nightmare being experienced by rock star Alice Cooper.

What awoke him from that? The actual healing is about halfway through the YouTube video below (at 2mins 12secs) but the whole video is a heartening, heartfelt expression of a Christian lifestyle that lives its faith without judging others.

I have gratefully witnessed a healing of alcoholism too. I never experienced Alice Cooper music before — will have to check it out! Thank you for the post!!

Thanks, Jodi – it’s good to know that complete freedom is a achievable goal. I have never owned an Alice Cooper album, but the two big hits I remember when I was growing up were “School’s Out” and “Elected”. His is a kind of rock vaudeville act with a touch of teen rebellion thrown in for good measure…! 🙂

Wow, fantastic to know that alcoholism can be healed vs. cured. Not having to live under the claim that every AA meeting offers – that you will always be an alcoholic.

    Thanks for bring us this.
