Boston one of the world’s great cultural destinations – Mary Baker Eddy Library plays a part!

The City of Boston has been listed as one of the world’s 50 Greatest Cultural Destinations in a “special travel supplement” in today’s (UK) Sunday Telegraph.

One of the reason’s for choosing Boston is The Mary Baker Eddy Library for the Betterment of Humanity. The Boston section includes the following:  “Mapparium – Walk through this three-storey globe, in the Mary Baker Eddy Library”.

Additionally, the large photo illustrating the Boston section is the Mapparium.

It is shown with the caption, “World view: the glass globe of the Mapparium”.

I am looking forward to the day when great UK newspapers like The Sunday Telegraph recognise the huge contribution to the culture of Boston – and the world – that Mary Baker Eddy herself has made…! 🙂
