Healing prayer narrative – rapid recovery from broken foot and surgery not needed…

On Wednesday Christian Science churches around the world host meetings including spontaneously shared “experiences, testimonies, and remarks on Christian Science” for anyone curious to hear these accounts.

These experiences of the practicality of the power of God’s love can range from the modest to the marvellous. The following was recently recorded in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Mother relates healings of two daughters, one as a young child and the other as a mother herself –

The majority of Christian Science healings take place through the prayers and spiritual growth of individuals themselves, or with the help of a Christian Science practitioner, and are an alternative to either medical or complementary care. Consequently, neighbours and others might not get to see these healings happening and sometimes people mistakenly assume that Christian Scientists refuse to have anything to do with medical professionals. So I recently spoke to a colleague about a couple of healings experienced by her family while medical care was involved…

Do Christian Scientists refuse to go to doctors?
