Healing prayer narrative – paramedic attests to “miracle” recovery of drowned baby

What is a prayer healing narrative? Immediately below is a link to the narrative of a prayer-based healing found on the internet.  (Click here for a more in-depth explanation of why we are highlighting it on this blog.)

Recovery from drowning accident (from The Voice)  CHRISTMAS IN the Nwaubani household is set to be a celebratory one this year. Parents Junior and Tayo had been told by doctors their daughter Oluchi, 3, had a two per cent chance of surviving after she accidentally fell into a swimming pool whilst at the home of a family friend. Oluchi spent 18 minutes submerged in water until she was found and rushed, unconscious to the hospital……  (Read “A Miracle at Christmas”)

My favourite quote in this healing narrative: “Tayo, Oluchi’s mother…told Soul Stirrings, “I didn’t have any doubts that she would get well. When the doctors told us what was wrong with her, I said, ‘God, this is it, you do your stuff.’ God is a God of healing, what He’s started, he will finish. Her progress has been miraculous. It’s just fantastic to have her home and we’re trying to adjust.””
